Shea Crosby
Shea Crosby combines more than a decade of legal experience with lived insight to guide clients through some of life’s most personal legal challenges. Serving Northwest Arkansas—and soon, neighboring counties in Oklahoma—Shea focuses her practice on divorce, legal separation, custody matters, guardianships, orders of protection, contempt proceedings, adoptions involving children or adults, negotiating child support settlements, and name changes. Her work is marked by both professional expertise and personal commitment.
Educational Background
Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Shea earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from ULM in 1999 and, upon graduation, moved to Northwest Arkansas to work as a mainframe programmer for a large local retailer. After several years in the tech field, she made the bold decision to pursue her passion for advocacy, earning her law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Professional Background
Following her admission to the Arkansas Bar in 2014, Shea launched her legal career at Legal Aid of Arkansas. She began as an AmeriCorps attorney, providing legal support to veterans, before transitioning to an Equal Justice Works Fellowship. In that role, she focused on removing barriers to employment by assisting clients with sealing criminal records to enhance their opportunities for housing, jobs, and professional license reinstatement. Shea transitioned into private practice in 2016, where she now focuses her practice on family law matter such as divorce, legal separation, custody matters, guardianships, orders of protection, contempt proceedings, adoptions, and name changes.
Personal Commitment
Shea’s empathy is grounded in experience: she has navigated divorce, co-parenting, and the responsibility of gaining custody of her infant granddaughter through a DHS case. That personal perspective fuels her commitment to advocating fiercely and compassionately for those she serves.
Personal Life
When she’s not practicing law, Shea loves spending time with her family—cheering on her granddaughter at volleyball and basketball games, exploring local trails on her e-bike together, or enjoying long walks with her sweet black toy poodle, Pepper. She’s also actively involved in her local church community where she finds connection, purpose, and meaningful ways to serve others.
